In an earlier post I wondered how Robert Half made money by just interviewing people. Well, I did a search on “I hate Robert Half” and found the answer. It seems there are more than a few disgruntled R/H employees out there who will admit that one of their performance indicators is how many people they sign up (get to fill out their on-line forms) and interview.
I guess actually PLACING these people isn’t one of the KPIs – just conducting interviews. Wow. Of course, Robert Half must place people in actual jobs. They couldn’t stay in business otherwise. So at least a few of the jobs they advertise must be real – and not just bait for poor unemployed saps like me.
Anyone from Robert Half out there care to enlighten us on how to tell the difference?
